Welcome to my blog!

If you are reading this blog you are probably in my EDU 524-50 class at Notre Dame of Maryland University.  Hi!!!!  If you just happened upon this blog and you are not in my class...WOW, thanks for dropping in.

I am a librarian at McDonogh School in Owings Mills, Maryland.  This is my first year holding this position and I love my job!  I have a husband, three kids and a dog that thinks she is my fourth child.  I am back in the work force for the first time in thirteen years.  I taught third through fifth grades for eight years in four different states and five different school districts.  

This blog will contain reviews of books that I read for this course.  We will read eight young adult books for this class and watch a movie made from a young adult novel.  If you would like to know more about young adult books, check out the sites below.
